This was a really interesting design challenge. I think originally I had started with inspiration from both ends of the pistol caliber spectrum, looking at .22 competition pistols and a high caliber desert eagle. The long barrel design was always a must here, as a way to differentiate from the Classic. We also chose not to use a hammer on this pistol either, to further that differentiation specifically in first person. The later addition of the silencer really helped the ghost be unmistakable. Fun side fact, this and many other sidearms have rail mounts on them because once upon a time we thought we were going to make attachments for every gun. So now they're just for decoration :P
